About Sunitha Saravanan (founder and director of Divyaghanam)
Sunitha Saravanan is a Physical Therapist by profession and a Carnatic music teacher based in Tampa, FL. Noticing the lack of artistic opportunities in her small Indian community in Tampa, she decided to cultivate the minds of young children through the beauty of Indian Classical music. She is now the director of Divyaghanam School of Music and has over a 100 students. 2023 marks her 14th year of teaching Carnatic music.
